Accessibility Statement

Ampney Crucis Parish Council is committed to delivering a website that is easy to use and accessible for everyone, we are making continuous improvements to the accessibility of our website.

Audit

This website’s accessibility was first tested using AXE as recommended by the gov.uk website. This highlighted a contrast issue with the hyperlink colour against the background colour. This issue has been rectified and a further test was completed using WAVE by WebAIM. The website will be regularly monitored and reviewed.

Non-compliance with Accessibility Regulations

We may have some scanned PDF documents on our website e.g. the Annual Governance and Accountability Return. Scanned documents do not comply with the Accessibility Regulations 2018 but these documents can be provided on request from the clerk at clerk@ampneycrucis.org.uk.

Reporting accessibility problems with this website

We are always looking to improve the accessibility of this website. Ampney Crucis Parish Council will regularly discuss compliance at its standing meetings. If you find any problems not listed on this page or think we’re not meeting accessibility requirements, please contact the clerk.

Next Actions by September 2021

  1. As we rely on generous volunteers to monitor and administer our website, we want to make sure we can fulfil our obligations whatever the situation. Therefore, we intend to look at whether some professional support is needed to help us meet our responsibilities. If so, we will procure additional funding to support this.
  2. A manual audit of our website accessibility will be conducted.
